Charcoal and pastel on paper

This drawing was inspired by Matt Nathanson's song 'Headphones.' It tells the story of a young girl who moves to NYC to disappear and start over. It celebrates the idea that no matter what is happening in your life, you can put on your favorite music and everything will be alright again. "I feel invincible with my headphones on."
