Ella Fine and Estella Sweet are two very talented drag queens that I had the honor of modeling for me. I have a great respect for their work because drag is a form of art often delving into self expression, self exploration, and/or making cultural statements. Getting into drag requires hours of expert make-up skills, alluring wigs, and glamorous costumes to create the illusion of the opposite sex. After completing the entire look drag queens commonly provide entertainment by singing or dancing at many different venues such as gay pride parades, cabarets, or private events. My drawings are a reflection of the admiration I have of their self expression.
